Unit was great for a few weeks but the battery compartment is very poorly designed! The compartment is on the bottom of the console. It's impossible to push 4 D sized batteries into the compartment, hold them in place while trying to replace the cover! Gravity wins every time. The compartment cover is plastic with 2 cheesy tabs to secure it in place. Now after several attempts to replace the batteries, the tabs have broken off. Even duct tape won't hold it in place against the weight of the 4 D batteries. Altho the unit does come with a AC adapter, my unit is inoperable as I wanted to use it in a location without electricity.
